StickDo is an integrated training method based on physical therapy and the principles of the neuroscience behind martial arts. StickDo is a series of balance, mobility, and stability exercises aimed at reaching a higher level of conscious attention and becoming one with the body.  

The name StickDo is adapted from the Japanese term ‘Do’ meaning the way, foundation, and direction. 

The development of StickDo originates from years of teaching and training karate, including 2 World Championships.  Working as a physical therapy practitioner with a wide range of clients from elite athletes to senior citizens, I have noticed most people have difficulties following through the exercises with the necessary degree of accuracy and stability.  So, I adopted the Stick to give support, direction, and assistance to do the movement with better precision and comfort. This has inspired me to create the StickDo method.
